Role: Senior Credit Appraisal Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a challenging role involving credit appraisal and risk assessment.

Job Description:

  • Credit appraisal for Large Corporate clients, including preparation of detailed reports and presentations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, market trends and other relevant factors to assess creditworthiness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely delivery of services and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of comprehensive credit appraisal reports, including identification of potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Development and implementation of credit policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintenance of accurate records and databases to track client information and transaction history.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting or related field.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations and best practices.

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience in project finance, corporate finance or similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
