Job Description

We are seeking a skilled specialist to fill a Counterparty Credit Risk role. The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk-weighted asset computation as per the Prudential Regulation Authority, hands-on knowledge of standardized approach to credit risk calculation, and a solid understanding of Basel III, Basel 3.1 / Capital Requirements Regulation 3, and regulatory capital rules.

The successful specialist will be responsible for developing effective credit risk management strategies, analyzing complex financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of credit risk initiatives, and providing expert advice on credit risk management best practices.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to mitigate credit risk exposure
  • Analyze extensive financial datasets to identify areas of improvement and opportunity
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to integrate credit risk initiatives into organizational objectives
  • Provide consultative services to clients on optimal credit risk management approaches

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA)
  • Expertise in risk-weighted asset computation as per the Prudential Regulation Authority
  • Hands-on experience with standardized approach to credit risk calculations
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks (Basel III, Basel 3.1 / CRR3)
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting
