As a System Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our PON and OLT systems. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and automating system tests to validate the functionality and performance of our products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system test engineering, with experience in validating PON and OLT systems. They will also have a good understanding of requirements for products and features, as well as strong technology focus in networking technology areas such as PON, WLAN, Ethernet, Bridging, and Routing.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and automate system tests to validate the functionality and performance of PON and OLT systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues and implement fixes.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Desirable Skills
The following skills are highly desirable for this role:
- Experience working with cross-geo teams worldwide.
- Good understanding of networking, GPON, WLAN, data path functions.
- Exposure to Mesh technologies in Wi-Fi.
- Forward-looking attitude, analyze upcoming trends in Wi-Fi and Networking.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and team player.
