We are seeking a seasoned Performance Test Specialist

About the Role

This key position plays a critical role in ensuring the performance and scalability of our applications. As a Performance Test Specialist, you will design and develop high-quality performance tests to identify bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop performance test scripts using LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis, LoadRunner Cloud) and other relevant tools.
  • Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing on web and enterprise applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze test results, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to enhance application performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, business analysis, and QA, to ensure that performance testing aligns with business requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain and update performance testing best practices to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in performance testing, with a strong background in designing and developing high-quality performance tests.
  • Expertise in scripting protocols like Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, Citrix, SAP, and others.
  • Familiarity with correlation, parameterization, and think-time modeling in LoadRunner.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills to identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Knowledge of APM tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic) for performance monitoring.
  • Experience in integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Good understanding of network protocols, server configurations, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with UI automation using selenium.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Proficiency in Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or similar API testing tools.
  • Experience with API automation using Java.
  • Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
