Cloud Support Specialist Position

This is a role that requires individuals with expertise in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring its reliable operation. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's cloud services, including AWS accounts, to ensure smooth running and high availability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, and Service Catalog product. They should also have strong understanding of networking, security, identity management, and storage in cloud environments.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Support Specialist who can help us deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain smooth running of cloud-based services with an emphasis on observability, high availability, disaster recovery, chaos engineering, privileged access, and incident/change management.
  • Provide operational support for changes and incidents in production.
  • Design services in support of each of these focus areas using AWS native infrastructure and development tools.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 12 years of experience in total.
  • AWS; and Infrastructure as code : CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
    - Python
    - Shell scripting
    - Serverless application development including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, or CloudWatch;
    - Utilizing Linux operating system and Docker containers.
  • AWS certified Solution Architect - Associate
    - Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect
    - Familiarity with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies
    - Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
