Job Title: Backend Developer with Product Mindset

Experience: 2+ years

Shift Timing: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST

Job Brief

We're seeking a talented individual with a passion for coding and product management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your backend development skills while gaining exposure to product decisions.

You'll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer teams to build integrations, debug live issues, read API docs, and contribute to our system infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clean, efficient Java code and build scalable backend components
  • Read and understand external API documentation to assist in building new integrations
  • Debug production issues by analyzing logs and participating in on-call rotations
  • Test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools
  • Participate in on-call debugging sessions with customers to resolve real-time issues
  • Work with product managers and developers to translate requirements into technical tasks
  • Take part in technical analysis, design discussions, and roadmap planning
  • Build and maintain robust APIs to support integrations
  • Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of backend development experience in Java
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation
  • Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of product thinking or interest in pursuing product management in the future
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, log analyzers, and version control systems (Git)
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work cross-functionally
