Job Title:

Backend Developer Specialist

Join a dynamic team as a seasoned Java Backend Developer.

  • Develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement optimized database schema using SQL and JPA.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services using RESTful APIs.
  • Ensure high-quality code by following best practices and participating in peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
  • Expertise in Spring framework and Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in Java 8 and ability to use newer versions.
  • Experience in SQL and database design.
  • Knowledge of Rest APIs, OAuth2, Spring Security, and JWT token implementation.
  • Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
  • Experience in unit testing with Junit and Mockito.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Docker.
  • Experience in public cloud environments, particularly with AWS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI for analytics and reporting.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and cross-platform implementation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Spring Boot Data JPA and be experienced in Java 8 with capability to utilize newer versions such as Java 17 or 21. They should also hold strong expertise in SQL and be familiar with Rest APIs, including OAuth2, Spring Security, and JWT token implementation.

A well-versed individual in web security principles, including CORS, CSRF, XSS, and SQL injection prevention is required. Additionally, they must have experience in unit testing with Junit and Mockito and be familiar with CI/CD tools.
