Seeking an Experienced Backend Developer for a Challenging RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Node Developer to join our team at Yamaha Motor Solutions India.The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, as well as experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Sr. Node Developer to take their skills to the next level and contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, collaborating with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality features, writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices, optimizing application performance, security, and scalability, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments, leading technical discussions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers, staying updated with emerging technologies and proposing improvements to architecture and processes.Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
