Job Overview

​

  • We are seeking an experienced Database Developer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines and storage solutions.

​

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in database design and development, with expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, and BigQuery.

Key Requirements
  • Expertise in designing and implementing efficient data pipelines and storage solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native data services on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, replication, sharding, and partitioning.
  • Strong knowledge of query optimization, schema modeling, and indexing.
  • Good scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Detailed Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, distributed, and highly available database systems for real-time and batch workloads.
  • Manage and optimize relational databases and NoSQL platforms for efficient data access.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product engineers to develop effective data strategies and ensure efficient access to data.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate database deployments, migrations, and monitoring.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, backup, recovery, and security across platforms.

  • PostgreSQL and MySQL database design and optimization.
