Key Garment Technology Role

The successful candidate will oversee the garment technical process from initial development sample to shipment. This involves managing the customer technical design packs, collaborating with the factory's sample rooms to develop technically correct and fit-correct samples. The role requires assessing supplier samples in India-Tirupur for quality, product safety, and visual appearance before sending them to customers.

To excel in this position, one must critically assess all supplier samples and ensure bulk production meets specifications. A key responsibility is managing the critical path to ensure timely technical approvals for factory shipments. Additionally, supporting internal teams on problem-solving activities is essential to prevent delays.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a factory sample room or Buying/License office as a Garment Technologist/Technician
  • Excellent knowledge of embellishment development (Print / Embroidery)
  • Pattern making skills are necessary
  • A 3D tool experience is an advantage
  • Excellent command of English for communication with UK buying/technical teams
  • Proficiency in Excel worksheets and computers is required
