Job Title:

DGM/GM - Design & Engineering

About the Role:

This senior role oversees the entire design process for solar PV power plants. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and designers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.

  • Project Management:

The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

  • Design and Compliance:

As the Design GM, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing design plans, specifications, and construction documents. This includes ensuring compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

You will work closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements, present design solutions, and provide progress updates.

  • Technical Expertise:

A strong understanding of the latest innovations and technology trends in solar PV design is essential for this role. You will conduct feasibility studies and technical analysis to ensure that projects meet client requirements.

  • Quality Assurance:

You will implement and monitor quality assurance processes, conducting design audits and reviews to ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering and at least 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management of single plants of 100 MWp and higher.

Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in Optimizing Designs: The ideal candidate will have expertise in optimizing designs to meet client requirements and project demands.
  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of 18 years of experience in Design & Engineering is required, preferably in a leadership role.
