  • Monitoring server parameters such as CPU, memory, hard disk size, and log size on a regular schedule is an essential responsibility of this role. This involves keeping track of vital statistics to ensure the smooth operation of servers.
  • Any performance issues on servers beyond thresholds must be reported to the appropriate teams for prompt resolution. This requires close collaboration with colleagues to resolve technical difficulties efficiently.
  • Scheduled tasks on systems must be monitored to guarantee their successful completion. If any failures occur, rerunning the task is necessary to maintain continuity.
  • Reporting technical errors to L2/L3 teams for resolution is another key aspect of this position. Timely communication with these teams helps to resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Staying informed about new items/tickets through Email, Teams channel, and Ticketing system is crucial. Updating items/tickets with initial responses, gathering more details from customers/end-users/other teams when required, reproducing issues in testing environments, and validating issue fixes based on customer inputs are all critical responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • This role requires at least 5 years of experience with customer-facing responsibilities. More than 3 years of experience in managing application or infrastructure support at L1 level is also expected.
  • Familiarity with SailPoint or IAM system support is a significant advantage. Experience in handling customer-related queries on system functionality and providing required support is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with customers within defined SLAs. Experience in doing customer-issue-based validation is also important.
  • A technical background in Java or scripting would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
