Job Title: Cloud Solutions Engineer

Job Description:

You will work closely with customers, vendors, and partners on implementation projects to ensure a smooth transition to cloud-based solutions.

In this position, you are responsible for:

  • Working with pre-sales teams to scope out cloud operations;
  • Collaborating with development teams on new release certifications;
  • Identifying and addressing vulnerabilities with the ISO team;
  • Guiding teams on 24/7 model customer support in major areas such as operating system administration, technical administration of ERP applications, upgrades, and migrations.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Strong knowledge of ERP applications and troubleshooting skills;
  • Experience with Infor OS and integrating with ERP applications;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Collaboration with customers and vendors (onshore and offshore);
  • Managing tough situations like P1 calls.
A Day in the Life:

Typically includes:

  • Understanding challenges faced by cloud customers while migrating from on-prem to cloud and defining migration strategies/solutions;
  • Driving sales to cloud services transition calls;
  • Conducting daily SCRUM calls to review cloud migration and upgrade projects status;
  • Participating in implementation cadence calls and driving implementations in the right direction;
  • Ensuring network, infrastructure, and tools are provisioned as per entitlement;
  • Guiding project managers on tasks involved in the migration strategy/solution and helping create project plans;
  • Designing and developing disaster recovery solutions and testing during the project phase;
  • Troubleshooting issues in different operational projects;
  • Identifying implementation phase improvement areas and working with project leads and managers to implement improvements.
