Policy Center Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled Policy Center Developer to contribute to our development team. In this role, you will collaborate with digital product teams and subject matter experts to design and develop approaches for configuration, effort estimation, and build of design documents.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration and Integration, as well as hands-on experience working on GW Integration Gateway Frameworks and common integration design patterns used by Policy Center.

You will be responsible for coding and developing Guidewire Policy Center enhancements and defects, contributing to future Guidewire development as a key member of the development team, and helping with production support for the platform by analyzing logs and identifying potential problems and defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, configure, and unit test Guidewire Policy Center enhancements and defects
  • Contribute to future Guidewire development as a key member of the development team
  • Help with production support for the platform by analyzing logs and identifying potential problems and defects
  • Collaborate with digital product teams and subject matter experts to design and develop approaches for configuration, effort estimation, and build of design documents
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration and Integration
  • Hands-on experience working on GW Integration Gateway Frameworks and common integration design patterns used by Policy Center
  • Expertise in GW Rating and Admin management
  • Hands-on experience in working on one programming language (JAVA or Python)
  • Certification: MUST have Guidewire Cloud Certified Associate Developer, Guidewire Cloud Certified Integration Specialist
  • Experience in the Canadian Personal Line Insurance industry domain
