Job Description

As the Store Manager of a renowned ethnic wear retail store, you will lead daily operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales performance. Your role involves managing inventory, ensuring brand standards, and maintaining world-class customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in apparel/ethnic retail management, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities in English, Bengali, and Hindi. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising staff, as well as providing timely feedback on bestsellers and market trends.

  • Manage all aspects of daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and POS systems.
  • Ensure the store reflects the luxury ethnic wear identity through visual merchandising, cleanliness, and ambience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales to achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets.
  • Ensure customers receive personalized styling guidance for sarees, blouses, and accessories.
  • Handle escalated customer queries, ensuring smooth exchange/return processes as per company policies.
Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff, stylists, and support personnel.
  • Monitor staff performance, set targets, and conduct regular team meetings.
Inventory & Stock Control:
  • Oversee stock movement, replenishment, tagging, and barcoding.
  • Maintain accurate records of saree collections and ensure minimal stock loss/shrinkage.
Marketing & Engagement:
  • Execute in-store events such as festive saree showcases, draping workshops, and wedding collection previews.
  • Coordinate with marketing for influencer visits, live streaming, and customer engagement activities.
Reporting & Compliance:
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales and footfall reports.
  • Ensure compliance with billing, GST, and company policies.
