Business Development Manager for Middle East Sustainability SaaS

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the Middle East region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs and opportunities, and helping them to find and make use of our best matching solutions.

Our company, One Click LCA, is the world-leading construction and manufacturing Life Cycle Assessment platform operated as SaaS. We are a dynamic, friendly, and motivated team of top-notch professionals working together to solve one of the world's biggest challenges: decarbonizing buildings and construction.

As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and a team of world-class professionals to help businesses create value by using science-based and robust metrics to quantify and improve environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with prospective clients to understand how their business needs can be solved and develop quotes for our solutions to bring on board new customers
  • Support existing customers by hosting specialist training sessions on LCAs and EPDs and undertaking projects as required
  • Get and stay up to date with the One Click LCA platform inside out
  • Educate prospects on the value and opportunities of LCA tools EPD and low-carbon construction
  • Keep up to date on developments around LCA and EPD standards PCRs and practices
  • Increase our presence in the respective region by attending important construction industry events and by seeking and leveraging local partnerships
  • Work with the marketing teams to create and localize key content for the local regions
  • Work with the product teams to improve the tools for the respective markets

Requirements:

  • We are seeking someone with a proactive hunter mentality in sales
  • Preferably 3 years of commercial B2B Sales and Account management experience with a successful track record of growth
  • Motivation to help others succeed and to find solutions to overcome their obstacles
  • Fast learning skills and desire to improve constantly
  • Degree or close to a degree in construction industry LCA building sustainability or related area
  • Customer and results-oriented attitude
  • Very good listening skills and the ability to see the situation from a prospect's/client's perspective
  • Positive approach to business and learning allowing you to learn what works and what doesn't
  • Hand-on attitude and a drive to get things done
  • Professional working proficiency in English as it is our working language. Full proficiency in Arabic is seen as a plus
