Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Open Destinations Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with a focus on creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our business units, including web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, and training videos.
  • Conduct skill gap analyses and develop long-term training plans for all teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for transitions, ensuring that key elements are addressed and resolved.
  • Review and modify training materials produced by clients during transition to determine appropriateness and relevance.
  • Present in-person and online training sessions, or hire qualified personnel to do so.
  • Monitor process training programs and manuals to ensure they are effective and up-to-date.
  • Maintain an understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods.
  • Comply with ODL SOPs and continuously improve quality management processes.
  • Create management reports and presentations to keep senior leadership informed on schedule, ROI, and deliverable status.
  • Conduct Train the Trainer sessions to develop other trainers.

Requirements

  • Excellent domain knowledge, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Ability to work in different shifts, including UK/US hours, with staggered offs as per client requirement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpretation skills.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with very good English language knowledge (B2B and B2C).
  • Deep understanding of BPO business aspects, including SLA, Baselining, QA, Training MIS.
  • Excellent project management skills applied to various project types, complexities, domains, and geographies.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, preferably Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Good knowledge of MS Project and MS Visio.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to work with large volumes of data using statistical tools.
