Technical Architect Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce Technical Architecture, with a strong understanding of enterprise-grade architecture and large-scale Sales Cloud implementations.

  • Define end-to-end architectures for Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
  • Design scalable, high-performance, and secure architectures that meet enterprise IT strategy requirements.
  • Establish standards for data models, APIs, integrations, and DevOps practices, promoting technical excellence across the team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture & Solution Design:
    • Develop comprehensive architectures for Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions, incorporating input from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
    • Collaborate with developers, admins, and consultants to ensure solution validity and architectural integrity.
    • Provide guidance on data quality, sandbox strategy, and system maintenance, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Administration & Governance:
    • Oversee critical administration aspects, including user management, security, profiles, permission sets, and workflows, ensuring compliance with Salesforce governance and security policies.
    • Drive governance around Sales Cloud configuration, change management, and release management, promoting streamlined processes and minimal downtime.
    • Partner with program managers and business leads to ensure project success and timely delivery, aligning with business objectives.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship:
    • Lead code reviews, solution validations, and architectural assessments, promoting technical excellence and adherence to best practices.
    • Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and development within the organization.
    • Conduct executive-level solution walkthroughs and present technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Project & Delivery Ownership:
    • Lead large-scale Sales Cloud implementations, covering Lead, Opportunity, Campaign, Forecasting, CPQ, and Pipeline Management, while overseeing enterprise-grade integrations with ERP, marketing automation, and other business systems.
    • Ensure project success through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing strategic guidance and expert advice throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical architecture, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor, recommending strategic Salesforce enhancements and process improvements, driving innovation and efficiency within the organization.
    • Conduct regular progress updates and provide strategic guidance to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
  • Continuous Innovation:
    • Stay current with Salesforce Sales Cloud features, releases, and roadmap, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
    • Promote adoption of new tools, automation, and advanced architectural patterns, enhancing the overall technical capabilities of the team.
