Transition Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Transition Manager to lead multiple waves/tracks of transition projects, end-to-end. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in BPO/BPM and strong customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage active transitions as assigned, ensuring timely completion while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customers, handling questions, decisions, actions, and updates as applicable.
  • Provide first-line support for internal and customer issues, escalating as needed.
  • Conduct governance calls and meetings for internal and customer updates, driving process improvements.
  • Plan, conduct, and manage relevant trainings for the transitions team, assessing training needs and developing strategies.
  • Foster a deep understanding of customer strategic business objectives, facilitating project scope definition, goals, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate in creating and reviewing transition solutions for RFPs/RFPs, pre-sales support, and other projects as needed.
  • Identify and define business cases, project tasks, and resource requirements, developing detailed project charters, plans, and transition plans based on solution complexity and priorities.
  • Prioritize process migration activities with IT implementation, providing customers with a distinct advantage through vendor management.
  • Optimize the transition methodology, reducing time, costs, risks, and improving quality.
  • Lead risk management efforts, understanding operational and business risks, and developing mitigation plans.
  • Create and/or maintain project management documents, including status reports, project plans, knowledge transfer documentation, and requisite approvals.
