Job Title: Technical Operations Lead

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned technical professional to oversee and guide a team of technical operations engineers in a dynamic production environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10+ technical operations engineers, fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages growth and learning.
  • Guide the team in handling critical situations and high-severity incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Manage and resolve L2/L3 technical issues, utilizing industry-standard tools for proactive monitoring and swift issue escalation.
  • Handle customer escalations and coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely resolution, demonstrating exceptional communication and coordination skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and infrastructure to drive operational excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8–12 years of experience in technical operations or system administration, with a proven track record of leading and managing technical teams.
  • Strong Linux administration skills (command-line, scripting, troubleshooting), with a solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) and incident management techniques.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and escalation management, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in production deployment and release management, with working knowledge of Hadoop and distributed systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker and Ansible, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
