Key Role in Intermodal Growth

The Head of Intermodal Transportation oversees the development and implementation of our intermodal product strategy, driving growth through strategic planning and operational execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead existing portfolio of IM business while developing domestic rail portfolio capabilities.
  • Monitor corridor and portfolio level financial and operating performance (cost/utilization).
  • Drive continuous improvement by repurposing and optimizing assets to maximize efficiency.
  • Make investment decisions and ensure effective follow-up.
  • Optimize network with customers, customs, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Intermodal Transformation Strategy

  • Develop and execute an intermodal transformation strategy in the region.
  • Align with changing logistics landscape in India driven by National Logistics Policy.
  • Leverage strength of existing Intermodal capability to develop domestic rail portfolio.
  • Collaborate with procurement to develop and strengthen partnerships with Rail operators including Private Rail Operators.
  • Expand business footprint rapidly while ensuring consistent profitability in existing franchise.
  • Develop area business plan and execute intermodal strategy in alignment with global, regional, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide customer-oriented end-to-end solutions with clear value propositions for targeted customer segments.
