Job Title: System Operations Specialist

This role involves overseeing the efficient functioning of our tools and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage IT monitoring platforms, with a focus on ScienceLogic SL1 software.
  • Configure and troubleshoot SL1 architecture, collectors, and PowerPacks modules.
  • Implement event policies and escalation rules to optimize alerting and reduce noise levels.
  • Design and develop dashboards and reports in SL1 to provide actionable insights into system performance.
  • Integrate SL1 with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or similar applications to enhance workflow efficiency.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in IT monitoring and observability, specifically with ScienceLogic SL1. They should be skilled at tuning alerts and reducing noise, as well as familiar with hybrid IT monitoring across On-prem, AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Additionally, they should have hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in IT monitoring and observability with SL1.
  • Strong expertise in tuning alerts and reducing noise.
  • Familiarity with hybrid IT monitoring (On-prem, AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
