Job Description:

Epsilon Group is a leading industrial conglomerate driving the global carbon black and battery materials industry with a vision to decarbonize economies and support cleaner technologies. The organization has carved a niche for itself through its subsidiaries, Epsilon Carbon and Epsilon Advanced Materials.

The company operates India's first fully integrated carbon facility in Bellary, Karnataka, specializing in carbon black and specialized carbon derivatives. It has an annual capacity of 115,000 metric tons and 320,000 TPA, respectively, and is poised for expansion with its Carbon Black phase-2 facility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's strategic plan in alignment with its vision and mission. This will involve overseeing the execution of strategic projects and initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the company's strategic plan to achieve business objectives.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of strategic projects and initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Corporate Development: Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances to drive business growth.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the organization to drive growth and competitiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and business case creation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate and deliver results in ambiguous and fast-changing business environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BE | BTech in Chemical Engineering.
  • MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.).
  • 15 to 17 years of experience in strategic roles within the chemical or allied sectors.
