A successful Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Expert at a leading organization plays a vital role in shaping the overall HR philosophy and organizational goals. Their primary focus is on designing compensation structures, determining salary levels, and managing annual salary revision exercises through market surveys and analysis.
The C&B Expert is responsible for aligning the compensation practices with the organization's overall strategy, communicating compensation programs to employees and management, and monitoring the compensation program to make periodic adjustments as needed. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to drive business solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implement compensation structures that attract and retain top talent while maintaining cost control.
- Analyze market data to determine appropriate salary levels and ensure competitive positioning.
- Manage annual salary revision exercises, including survey design, data analysis, and budget development.
- Communicate compensation programs and policies to employees and management.
- Monitor the compensation program and make adjustments as needed to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
- 10-12 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a leadership role.
- Graduate degree in any discipline or MBA Finance/HR.
- Prior experience in people leadership, benefits portfolio management, and vendor assessment.
- Deep expertise in budgeting, data analysis, and project management.
- Strong network of peers in competitor organizations and awareness of market landscape and practices.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle large datasets and conduct self in a professional manner dealing with sensitive information.
Benefits:
- Drive wellbeing and Benefits/rewards operations professionals to develop and implement Fiserv India Health and Mental Wellbeing policies and programs.
- Responsible for defining problem statements, goal setting, performance management, escalation management, and coaching/mentoring the operations team across health, wellbeing, and operations functions.
- Works closely with Fiserv India senior leadership, HR, HQ Benefits and Wellbeing teams to build consensus and support for the India Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
- Focus on communication and branding of all associate benefits.
- Drive insurance renewal for the Fiserv India entity.
- Develops the approach for administering health and wellbeing programs for Fiserv India in collaboration with local and global teams.
- Drives vendor market intelligence across the broader benefits portfolio and helps optimize ROI.
- Managing multiple vendors/services contracts and renewal.
- Leads the internal governance of functional metrics and health/insurance dashboards.
- Drives the finalization of annual Fiserv India engagement calendar in partnership with site excellence and enables implementation of events in conjunction with the global and India team.
- Works with Leaders, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and leadership team to effectively communicate/amplify Fiserv India's Benefits philosophy and educate team members on the value of Total Rewards in partnership with communications.
- Manages and monitors health and wellbeing budgets and insurance.
- Owns and drives company-wide special projects aligned to team/organizational needs.
