Intellectual Property Expert - Opportunity to Lead

Seek a seasoned expert in intellectual property matters, prosecution, litigation, and advisory services. Manage key IP-related projects, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs.

The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of Indian and international IP laws, provides client-centric guidance, and leads a team of legal associates and interns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle IPR matters from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and implement IP strategies for clients.
  • Prepare and file IP applications, oppositions, assignments, and licensing agreements.
  • Represent clients in IPR disputes and enforcement actions.
  • Conduct IP due diligence, freedom to operate analysis, and infringement assessments.
  • Collaborate with external counsel, authorities, and international colleagues on cross-border IP matters.
  • Lead junior team members, ensuring knowledge growth and quality delivery.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, case laws, and regulatory updates.
Key Requirements:
  • Law degree (LL.B / LL.M) with registered patent agent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in IP law, preferably in-house or at a law firm.
  • Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-handling abilities.
  • Proven track record in managing complex IPR portfolios and high-stakes disputes.
