Logistics Manager Role

As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee end-to-end warehousing operations. You will contribute to the success of your team and day-to-day operations in warehouses and distribution centers.

Some examples of responsibilities include managing delicate flower and fresh ingredient storage and delivery for everyday lunches and family celebrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and expand product offerings with support from real estate strategy and deep understanding of customer needs.
  • To partner with customers by understanding their short-term, medium-term and long-term goals and determining how we can support them in achieving those goals.
  • To offer an extraordinary customer experience journey ensuring full engagement from your team.
  • To set and ensure achievement or surpassing of financial targets anticipating any deviations and responding promptly to senior management regarding progress challenges and opportunities.
  • To define and approve service level agreements with customers monitor and report on them with a mindset of continual improvement and customer enablement.
  • To foster efficient organization productivity and seasonality while developing your team members.
  • To stay at the forefront of automation seek innovative solutions leverage technology digitize operations and keep abreast of market development customers and their demands.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in logistics or supply chain with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within contract logistics.
  • A proven track record of profit and loss ownership and business growth.
  • Experience managing large-scale warehouse or distribution operations.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • A deep understanding of warehousing distribution models WMS/TMS systems and automation technologies.
