Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished expert in Economics to lead our teaching and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students in applied learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and case-study-based sessions for undergraduate/postgraduate Management courses, utilizing current economic policies, business practices, and academic standards as a framework.
  • Develop and update curriculum and course materials to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with industry trends.
  • Guide students in academic projects, dissertations, research, and internships related to economics and management, providing mentorship and support throughout the process.
  • Evaluate student coursework, assignments, presentations, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to aid in their development.
  • Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enhance applied learning opportunities for students.
  • Pursue academic research and publish papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals and conferences in the field of Economics and Management.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings, committees, and curriculum enhancement initiatives, leveraging expertise to drive positive change.
  • Stay up-to-date with economic trends, policy changes, and emerging methodologies, incorporating this knowledge into teaching and research activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Masters/PhD in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Prior teaching and/or industry/research experience in Economics is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools, statistical software (e.g., R, STATA, SPSS), and data interpretation is essential.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
