Forensic Medicine Expert

We invite medical professionals to contribute to academic excellence through teaching, research, and medico-legal expertise in Forensic Medicine.

  • Deliver high-quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate students, conduct medico-legal case discussions, supervise research, and ensure compliance with national standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, including lectures, practical sessions, autopsy demonstrations, seminars, and tutorials.
  • Guide PG students in dissertation work, case discussions, and journal clubs, integrating forensic principles with clinical and legal practice.
  • Undertake and guide original research projects in forensic pathology, toxicology, medical jurisprudence, and allied fields, publishing in reputed national and international indexed journals.
  • Supervise and conduct medicolegal autopsies and postmortem examinations, providing expert medico-legal opinion in criminal and civil cases.
Qualifications:
  • Professor: MD (Forensic Medicine) with at least 8 years teaching experience, including 3 years as Associate Professor, plus research publications.
  • Associate Professor: MD (Forensic Medicine) with at least 5 years teaching experience, including 2 years as Assistant Professor, plus research publications.
  • Assistant Professor: MD (Forensic Medicine) with teaching/research experience as per national requirements; publications desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong academic, clinical, and medico-legal knowledge.
  • Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities.
  • Research aptitude with publication track record.
  • Ability to provide medico-legal expertise with accuracy and integrity.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with law enforcement and judiciary.
