Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Expert Required

We seek an accomplished BIS specialist to facilitate ISI Mark Scheme compliance for manufacturers and importers.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless registration, documentation, product testing, and certification processes under BIS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth guidance on BIS Certification requirements.
  • Assist clients in identifying applicable BIS standards and categories for their products.
  • Facilitate preparation and submission of BIS application and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with BIS-recognized laboratories for product testing and obtain necessary test reports.
  • Ensure products meet technical standards for performance and safety as required by BIS regulations.
  • Act as primary point of contact between clients and BIS officials to expedite certification process.
  • Track and monitor status of applications, ensuring timely follow-up and approval.
  • Advise clients on testing and post-certification compliance.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients in maintaining compliance, managing renewals, and addressing regulatory concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 0-2 years of working experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BIS standards under the ISI Mark Scheme-1.
  • Knowledge of BIS portal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
