The Saint-Gobain India Pvt Ltd – Glass Business Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit is a strategic investment in western India, acquired in 2011. Located in Central Gujarat, the plant spans 150 acres and produces 550 MT of clear glass per day, setting a high quality benchmark within India and globally.

The campus boasts an in-house Sand Beneficiation plant with a capacity to produce 600 tons of treated sand per day. The company has invested in value-added products, including Shower Cubicles, catering to Home and Hospitality business segments.

Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Operations:
  • Manage receipt and storage of Finished Goods, particularly Warehouse and Dispatch at the end of the Manufacturing Process
  • Responsible for Safety & 5S in warehouse Bays
  • Manage storage & Serviceability in the warehouse bays
  • Responsible for traceability and retrievability of material
  • Responsible for bay audits and reporting
Inventory Management:
  • Responsible for Inventory Management
  • Knowledge of Forklift operations and EOT
  • Knowledge on optimization of space, consumables
  • Knowledge on inventory management
  • Knowledge about warehouse activity
  • Knowledge about Cycle Audit
  • Knowledge about Material Storing
  • Knowledge about making inward and invoice
  • Knowledge in Location accuracies
  • Knowledge about Loading activity
  • Internal/External Customer interaction

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma - Engineering (Any stream) with Good Academic record
  • 2-4 years
    • Must be willing to relocate to Bharuch/Ankleshwar
