Job Overview:

The Strategic Marketing Program Manager at Emerson will be responsible for driving excellence in internal and external marketing projects for Emerson's Isolation Valves business unit. This role requires collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams across the global matrix organization to deliver projects enhancing the customer experience of Emerson's customers, partners, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive the global sales portal, working with product and sales teams to ensure a complete, current, and accessible catalog of sales tools.
• Develop and implement functionality for Emerson's online properties to deliver a best-in-class user experience for customers, partners, and employees.
• Own the user experience, proactively driving improvements, soliciting and acting on user feedback, and ensuring seamless access and navigation.
• Coordinate with product, sales, and web teams to plan and implement Emerson's search engine optimization program, manage projects with MyEmerson, and other DCX and Marcom initiatives within the business unit.
• Manage the programmatic improvement of Emerson's website presence, including content, connectivity, and findability of product, application, and industry pages.
• Own the sales-marketing connection to qualify, act on, and quantify the value of marketing-generated leads to evaluate and report on the return on investment of marketing programs.
• Define and deliver programs engaging and growing the customer base, ensuring marketing efforts resonate with the target audience.
• Use modern marketing technologies and platforms to streamline processes and enhance campaign effectiveness.
• Develop and report on the status of marketing programs, including updates, risks, schedules, return on investment, and priorities.
• Develop and report consolidated financial data for GHG emissions, product program exhibits, and NPD program exhibits by collecting and aggregating information from various SBUs.
• Work with Product Material Compliance team and aggregate actions for following up with SBU engineering and product teams.
• Drive adoption of the NPD process further into product programs through maintaining a Gate schedule for upcoming programs, preserving Gate summaries for later reference, and working with program teams to support their process needs.
• Provide regular updates on the status of various NPD projects.

Requirements:

• Education in engineering, marketing, business, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication, to convey clear information, actively listen, and ensure alignment.
• Leadership and teamwork skills to inspire and guide teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals and deliver successful marketing programs.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate market data, measure campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing conditions, new technologies, and evolving market trends, and to identify issues, analyze them, and develop effective solutions.
• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, preferably in an industrial or technology sector.
• Proven experience in effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and implement strategic programs.
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with the ability to manipulate data, derive insights, and take actions delivering measurable results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to navigate and interact with partners at all levels in a complex, global, matrix organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment within a complex global organization.
• Demonstrated ability to influence experienced leaders in many different functions.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects with multiple partners.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Successful track record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with valve technology and process end markets.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with Oracle applications, particularly Eloqua, CRM Cloud.
• Familiarity with SEO applications, particularly Google AdWords and Conductor.
• Familiarity with analytics applications, particularly Google Analytics and Power BI.
• Experience working as part of a distributed team in a highly matrixed organization.
• Marketing experience is preferred.
