Senior Android Engineering Lead

About The Position: We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineering Lead to drive the architecture, development, and optimization of high-quality Android applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing scalable mobile experiences through hands-on coding and strategic technical leadership.
- Contributing to improving best practices and mentoring less experienced developers in a collaborative environment.
Key Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in Android development with strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and handling different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch.
- Knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Google's Android design principles, and interface guidelines.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT, and familiarity with continuous integration.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Familiarity with additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
