Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead/Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Android Automotive to join our automotive infotainment software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android system development, a solid understanding of AOSP, and hands-on experience working with automotive connectivity and multimedia features. This role requires strong collaboration, technical leadership, and the ability to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of AOSP (Android Open Source Project) or Android Automotive.
• Proficiency in Android Studio, Java, and Kotlin.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git and repo.
• Domain experience in connectivity (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) and/or multimedia/audio systems.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Job responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Android-based applications and services for automotive systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system architects, UX designers, hardware teams, and test engineers.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and responsiveness of automotive Android features.
• Debug and resolve complex issues involving Android platform, connectivity, and multimedia components.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, automation, and CI/CD best practices.
• Contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing across the team
