Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Android C++ Developer
with a strong background in the
automotive or manufacturing industries
. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Android development, C++, Android HAL, and embedded systems, with a passion for building reliable and scalable software for next-generation automotive platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software components for Android-based infotainment systems.
  • Work on Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and framework components using C++ and Java.
  • Build Android applications and services for embedded automotive platforms.
  • Collaborate with hardware, QA, and cross-functional software teams.
  • Interface with automotive hardware using protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
  • Implement automated tests and contribute to test frameworks for continuous validation.
  • Manage code using version control (Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
  • 6–8 years
    of total software development experience.
  • Minimum
    2+ years
    of experience in
    C++ development with Android HAL/Framework
    exposure.
  • At least
    1+ year
    of Android application development experience using
    Java
    .
  • Experience developing or maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages:
    C++, Java, Python
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    Android Automotive
    , Android Framework, and core Android components (Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers).
  • Solid understanding of
    RTOS
    concepts and
    embedded systems architecture
    .
  • Familiarity with hardware communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
  • Experience with tools like
    Git
    ,
    JIRA
    , and
    CI/CD pipelines
    .

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Android Automotive systems.
  • Familiarity with software development practices in the automotive domain.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
