About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Android Developer
to join our dynamic product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, user-friendly Android applications and a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Designers, QA, Backend Engineers) to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
  • Work with external APIs and data sources.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Android development.
  • Proficiency in
    Java and Kotlin
    .
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Jetpack, and Material Design principles.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
  • Solid understanding of
    MVVM / MVP architecture patterns
    .
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as
    Git
    .
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and deliver within deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with
    Firebase, Room DB, Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt
    .
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools for mobile app deployment.
  • Exposure to performance monitoring and optimization tools.
  • Published apps on Google Play Store.
