About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Java , a strong grasp of modern architecture patterns, and proven experience building robust, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications.
  • Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable code using MVVM/MVP architecture.
  • Integrate applications with RESTful APIs , Room/SQLite , and background services.
  • Work on responsive UI layouts , navigation patterns, and effective lifecycle management.
  • Build and optimize features such as GPS tracking, camera, and background tasks .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, QA) to deliver high-quality features.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android frameworks, libraries, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Android app development .
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java .
  • Expertise with Android SDK, UI frameworks , and architecture patterns ( MVVM/MVP ).
  • Solid experience working with RESTful APIs, Room/SQLite , and background services.
  • Strong understanding of responsive layouts, navigation flows, and lifecycle management .
  • Hands-on experience with GPS, camera features , and performance optimization.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in location-based applications (GPS tracking, geofencing, maps integration).
  • Familiarity with Google Maps SDK, Location Services API , or similar libraries.
  • Knowledge of Firebase services (push notifications, deep linking, analytics).
