Procurement Leadership Role

Lead a team responsible for managing contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to supply marketed products and future innovations. Create and implement procurement strategies to improve quality, service/supply risk, and deliver cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective ways of working across functions and teams.
  • Create and execute a cost management strategy to achieve agreed targets.
  • Deploy negotiation standards across CMOs and suppliers by building a strong should-cost foundation.
  • Plan and implement a sourcing strategy to support product innovation.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with CMOs and suppliers to maximize opportunities.
  • Support annual planning with market insights to inform budgeting principles.

Requirements:

  • Years of procurement experience preferably in direct materials and CMO domain.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement tools such as sourcing, RFQ, RFIs, contract negotiation, and supplier review.
  • Proven track record of successful cost reduction programs and supplier performance management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in partnership to drive change.
  • Experience in implementing new product launches and integrating new businesses.
  • Procurement experience in cGMP OTC and FMCG environments.
