Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager - Category Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager - Category Expert to lead our category management team in delivering procurement functions across all categories.

About the Role:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Lead a team of procurement specialists to achieve category goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement change initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with differing timelines and deliverables. They will also have knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and category expertise in indirect sourcing.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Procurement experience: 5+ years in procurement or a related field.
  • Cat Management experience: Proven track record in managing categories.
  • Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
