Job Summary:

This role is primarily focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships. As a Business Development Sales Professional, you will be responsible for working on qualified opportunities, identifying potential clients through research and networking, developing strategic sales plans to achieve new business targets, and managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

About the Role:

  • You will work on opportunities that are qualified and passed over to you.
  • You will identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and market analysis.
  • You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve new business targets.
  • You will build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • You will conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our offerings.
  • You will negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals.
  • You will collaborate with Solution Engineers and other internal stakeholders as per the requirement of the deal.

Your Background:

  • You should have technical software product sales & US market experience.
  • You should have strong communication, listening, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills to interact with technical stakeholders.
  • You should be able to handle customer questions and issues on the fly and be innovative in solving customer challenges.
  • You should be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to drive business independently.
  • You should have solid working knowledge of SalesForce.com / PC Tools.
  • You should have excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • You should have strong phone, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • You should be motivated to achieve sales targets/goals & comfortable with a quota-based variable compensation.
  • You should be willing to work in US time zone (IST 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM).

  • A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
