Job Overview

This role requires a seasoned technical leader to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the success of our remote team of engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, infrastructure management, and experience managing technical teams in site reliability engineering or a related field.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to mentor and develop team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to a remote team of engineers, fostering a high-performing team culture.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee team operations, including incident management, technical support, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Tech Support: Act as the primary point of escalation for complex technical issues.
  • Mentorship: Develop and mentor team members, enhancing their technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 6+ Years: Proven experience managing technical teams in site reliability engineering or a related field.
  • Cloud Computing: Strong technical background in cloud computing and infrastructure management.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral English communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification: AWS certification is preferred but not required.
  • Customer-Facing Teams: Experience leading customer-facing technical teams.
