About the Role">

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Water Process Engineer with deep expertise in water treatment, system planning, and design to drive technical delivery of water purification systems across India and beyond.

This role is central to our growth strategy, offering full lifecycle responsibility—from conceptual engineering and system design, through procurement and partner coordination, to overseeing installation and long-term operations & maintenance. You will work closely with our HQ and play a lead role in developing innovative, efficient, and scalable water purification solutions, particularly for the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering and design of water purification systems, ensuring compliance with local conditions, regulatory requirements, and performance targets
  • Develop detailed system plans, layouts, and process workflows, with input from HQ
  • Oversee procurement, supplier engagement, and partner coordination, ensuring high-quality execution and cost control
  • Supervise installation, commissioning, and technical handover of systems to operations teams or clients
  • Take ownership of operations and maintenance strategies, developing standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guidelines
  • Collaborate across disciplines to integrate field learnings and continuously improve system performance
  • Stay current on regulatory frameworks, certification standards, and relevant technological advancements
  • Support customer engagements by translating technical features into operational benefits
Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional with a minimum 7 years of experience in engineering, designing, and delivering water or process systems at scale. Strong background in process engineering, hydraulics, filtration, pumps, and automation required.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, model, and optimize complex water treatment processes
  • Experience in managing suppliers, fabrication partners, and field installation teams
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent project planning, documentation, and execution skills
  • Fluent in English (professional level); Hindi or other Indian languages are a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Water Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
