Job Description

The Role of a Hydraulic Design Manager is pivotal in determining water requirement calculations for Water Supply Schemes & Irrigation pipe distribution network projects.

  • Responsibilities include preparing Zone / Water User Association Block, chak planning of Project and Pipeline Layout planning of Water Supply Scheme & Pressurized / Gravity pipe distribution network Irrigation Project.
  • Hydraulic design of Water Supply Scheme & Pressurized / Gravity pipe distribution network Irrigation Project on Water GEMS software requires preparation of L-Sections of pipeline design on AutoCAD and E survey Software.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  1. Conduct investigations, surveys, design, engineering calculations and prepare working drawings and estimates for water supply schemes & Pressurized / Gravity pipe distribution network Irrigation Project.
  2. Work out item wise bill of quantity of Project and ensure design approvals from government department and vetting institutes.
  3. Site visits/Government department for convincing, scrutiny & approval are required.
  4. Report writing and presentation skills are necessary to effectively convey project information.
Requirements

A successful candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, E survey Software and Water GEMS software is also essential.
