Electrical Engineer for Energy Storage

This is a stimulating opportunity to contribute your expertise as an Electrical Engineer in the field of energy storage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing battery-based energy storage systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implementation: Develop electrical designs for battery-based energy storage systems, including PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA systems.
  2. Compliance and Due Diligence: Familiarize yourself with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the USA to ensure compliance and conduct thorough reviews of technical documents.
  3. Project Management: Manage bids and projects throughout their life cycle, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality results.
  4. Testing and Training: Perform electrical testing using appropriate procedures and attend training sessions on equipment provided by manufacturers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Total Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems).
  2. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field; PhD candidates in similar fields are welcome.
  3. Skills: Excellent reading comprehension of electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
  4. Electrical Knowledge: At least 3 years of electrical knowledge/training experience in BESS.
  5. Soft Skills: Strong organization, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.
  6. Software Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office software like Outlook, Excel, Word.
  7. Management Skills: Proven client management, team management, and process management skills.
