
Strategic Insurance Operations Manager

As a Senior Insurance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and motivating a team of insurance professionals to achieve their goals. You will oversee daily operations, ensure efficient workflow management, and provide guidance and support to team members for their professional development.
The ideal candidate will have experience in US P&C insurance lifecycle, including pre-placement, placement, and post-placement activities such as endorsements processing, policy administration, policy checking, policy issuance, quoting, renewal prep, submissions, surplus lines, licensing, agency admin, inspections, etc.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the team operates efficiently, meets its goals, and delivers high-quality services consistently. In this role, you will work on strict deadlines, in a high-pressure business environment while being a good team player and will need to lead a team size of 15 to 25 people.
Responsibilities:- Lead a team size of 15 to 25 people, inspire and motivate the team to achieve their goals.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow management.
- Provide guidance and support to team members for their professional development.
- Assign tasks based on individual strengths and project requirements and conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help team members improve their performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service delivery. Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Prepare detailed reports on team performance, inventory status, and other relevant metrics. Maintain accurate records of all activities, communications, and decisions.
- Graduate in any stream
- Relevant and meaningful years of experience of working in US P&C insurance lifecycle - pre-placement, placement, and post-placement activities (such as endorsements processing, policy administration, policy checking, policy issuance, quoting, renewal prep, submissions, surplus lines, licensing, agency admin, inspections and so on).
- Demonstrate and cultivate customer focus, collaboration, accountability, initiative, and innovation.
- Proficient in English language- both written (Email writing) and verbal
- A strong attention to detail analytical skills and the ability to multi-task are important
