Insurance Operations Specialist Role Overview

This position focuses on enhancing the post-payment customer experience by efficiently managing documentation, scheduling medical appointments, and verifying processes.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with insurers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to drive timely case issuance while meeting monthly targets and maintaining high First Touch Resolution (FTR) rates.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure a smooth post-payment customer journey by managing documentation, medical scheduling, and verification processes.
    • Coordinate with insurers, underwriters, TPAs, and internal stakeholders to drive timely case issuance while meeting monthly issuance targets with minimal Turn Around Time (TAT) and high FTR rate.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A basic understanding of insurance underwriting and decision-making processes.
  • Ability to handle customers patiently, including difficult conversations.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills to push cases forward.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in Insurance operations.
  • Basic computer and Excel skills.
