Financial Yield Strategist

About Our Role:

  • Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing publisher profit/loss, monitoring ad requests and inventory settings, and optimizing yield to maximize revenue streams.
  • The successful candidate will also serve as a key communicator and liaison with publishers and internal departments related to publisher needs and monetization.
  • This role involves ensuring ad requests and inventory settings are optimal, working with development on publisher releases, and providing recommendations for publisher ad layouts to maximize yield and publisher KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Publisher Management: Manage publisher profit/loss, monitor and optimize ad requests and inventory settings.
  • Communication: Serve as key communicator and liaison with publishers and internal departments related to publisher needs and monetization.
  • Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure ad requests and inventory settings are optimal, work with development on publisher releases.
  • Publisher Ad Layout: Provide publisher ad layout recommendations based upon products and ad requests to maximize yield and publisher KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Technology, or Business Intelligence. MBA and/or Masters is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience related to Online Advertising/Web Analytics in one or a combination of the following job functions: Traffic Analyst, Account Management, Yield Management, Campaign Management, Publisher Operations/Development, Ad Operations, Data Analytics.

Skills:

  • Experience with DFP ad server and SSP UI/Applications.
  • Familiarity with Header Bidding Ad Tech and BI Tools for data manipulation.
  • Ability to manage relationships and a team.
