SAP BTP Application Lead Role

The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team responsible for designing, building, and running SAP BTP applications and integrations. This includes partnering with stakeholders, guiding delivery, and ensuring quality through reviews, standards, and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the development team and manage delivery of projects.
  • Plan work, allocate resources, and track milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Design and customize SAP BTP apps and integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
  • Evaluate integration patterns and implement secure, compliant solutions.
  • Troubleshoot escalations and drive performance optimization.
  • Maintain clear documentation and facilitate training and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current on BTP services and recommend useful adoption strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, and SAP Integration Suite.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python) and development tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAPUI5, and SAP Fiori.
  • Experience with SAP HANA and database modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • SAP certification in relevant areas is an asset.
  • Leadership experience with proven results driving varied initiatives.
  • Business process knowledge in SAP/Non-SAP ERP functional areas.
  • Experience in consulting and effort estimations for new applications or extensions of existing ones.
  • Ability to collaborate in a global team environment.
  • Pro-active attitude and flexibility regarding tasks and process improvements.
