Accounting Professional

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities in the US and APAC regions. This includes general ledger functions, journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

A key responsibility is to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP and APAC accounting standards. The successful candidate will also supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor management and customer billing, and maintain accurate inventory records for products.

Additional duties include collaborating with production teams to track costs and performance metrics, and preparing consolidated financial statements (if needed) and financial reports for individual portfolio companies. The role requires collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, as well as assisting with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis for DHR Global and its portfolio companies.

The position involves collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings. Furthermore, the Accounting Professional will implement and streamline accounting processes across both regions to improve efficiency and accuracy and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures.

In addition to these responsibilities, the role includes developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CA/CPA certification preferred, strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and QuickBooks Desktop, thorough understanding of US GAAP, familiarity with APAC accounting standards, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
