Electrical Systems Design Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune, India.

This role involves designing and developing electrical systems for industrial machinery, including component selection, schematic and panel layout creation using CAD/CAE tools, and preparing BOMs. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with international standards, collaborate with mechanical and automation teams for seamless integration, and provide technical support during assembly, testing, and commissioning.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and the ability to work on-site in Pune. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required, and experience in the automation and precision manufacturing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities include:
  • Selecting suitable electrical and automation components (motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, relays, contactors, HMIs, etc.) based on project/application requirements.
  • Designing and developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD/CAE software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent).
  • Preparing BOMs for electrical components.
  • Cordinating with mechanical & automation teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems in machines.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards (IEC, IS, CE, UL etc.) for safety and reliability.
  • Providing technical support during assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning of machines.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving electrical design-related issues during the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously evaluating new products and technologies for improving machine performance and cost-effectiveness.
