Residential Mortgage Loan Manager

">Job Description:

The primary objective of this position is to manage a team of professionals responsible for originating, processing and closing residential mortgage loans. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the mortgage industry, with a strong background in loan origination, underwriting and compliance.

">Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of loan originators, processors and closers to ensure timely and efficient loan production.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve loan quality, reduce delinquencies and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to team members to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with loan production, such as regulatory compliance issues and credit risk.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors and internal partners to ensure smooth loan production and customer satisfaction.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in mortgage lending, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in loan origination, underwriting and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage regulations and guidelines, including TRID and RESPA.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
